Hi, I’m Kelsey Block

People come to therapy for many reasons. I work well with people who are interested in taking a proactive approach to therapy; those that believe that recovery and hope are always possible by building on their strengths (which everyone has), and what is already going well in their life. In general, I believe therapy is meant to make you feel more free, and that there is always personal preference and choice in what we do together.

As a therapist, my role is to offer insights, reflect patterns that I notice in behaviour, relationships, family, communication and thoughts, and provide knowledge, skills, and tools to empower you to live the life of your dreams. Most importantly, my intention for all clients is to feel connected, engaged, understood, and that counselling is addressing your needs and goals.

My practice focuses on bringing attention to the present moment, and what is going on here and now. I believe that at our core, we all want the same things: to be accepted, valued, and loved. When issues, challenges or resistance come into our lives, I believe it is an opportunity for growth.

If you have any questions or want to connect to see if we are a good fit, do not hesitate to reach out. I am always happy to hear from you.
